Hollywood Tour
A trip to the Los Angeles area would not be complete without a visit to Hollywood. Join NALHFA and stroll through the history of movies and television, stop off at a legendary movie studio and walk the streets famous to the stars.
Situated in the shadow of the famed Hollywood Sign, Paramount Studios is the only major classic studio in Hollywood. It stands rich in history and tradition while continuing to set global entertainment standards. Because filming takes place throughout the lot, this walking tour feels like a real production as you wander behind the scenes to get a look at day-to-day operations. Tour participants learn about the history of Paramount and are given an opportunity to see filming in action.
This special tour of Hollywood continues with a visit to the famous Gaumann’s Chinese Theatre and Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard.
This tour is organized by NALHFA and includes transportation and lunch in the Paramount commissary. If you are interested in participating, please see the registration form for further details and payment information.

This off-site project tour focuses on two permanent supportive housing projects. Rainbow Apartments is an 87 efficiency-unit building that provides permanent supportive housing to those at 45 percent of area median income. Rivers Hotel is an acquisition rehab project with 75 efficiency units for special-needs groups, including persons living with AIDS and artists.
