Registration
Registration opening soon! Payment by check, money order, purchase order, VISA or MasterCard must accompany each registration.
All conference attendees, including moderators and panelists of concurrent sessions, sponsors and exhibitors, must register. The registration fee includes all conference materials, refreshments, off-site concurrent sessions, the bus tour, two continental breakfasts, two luncheons and two receptions. Only one person may register per registration form.
Concurrent Session panelists who are not NALHFA members have the option of registering at a special “One Day Panelist Rate.” This allows the panelist to attend all other conference events on the day of their session. One-day registrations apply only to panelists.
NALHFA will send confirmation forms to acknowledge your payment prior to the conference. If you do not receive confirmation by fax or mail, please call the NALHFA registration department at (202) 367-1173.
Discounted Registration
Registrations with appropriate payment information received by Wednesday, February 27, 2008, will receive a discounted rate. All discounted registrants will appear in the conference attendee list.
Regular Registration
Registrations received between Friday, February 28 and Friday, March 28, 2008 will be processed at the regular registration rate. All registrations received by March 28 will be included on the conference attendee list.
Late/On-site Registration
Registrations received after March 28 must pay the late/on-site registration fee. We strongly encourage those who wish to register after Wednesday, April 2, 2008 to do so on site. All on-site registrants must have a form of payment at the time of registration. Also, we recommend that all on-site registrants bring a completed registration form for even quicker on-site registration.

Representatives from exhibiting organizations must use the sponsorship registration form on the back of the attendee advance registration form for complimentary and discounted registrations.

Golf Tournament
To participate in the 2008 NALHFA Spring Charity Golf Tournament, check the appropriate box on the attendee advance registration form in this brochure and include the registration fee in your conference registration payment. Your registration fee also includes breakfast and a reception after the tournament.

Hollywood Tour

Cancellation Policy
NALHFA must receive all cancellation requests in writing by Wednesday, March 19, 2008. This is the final date that cancellations are accepted. Fax cancellation requests to Cara Hill at (202) 367-2173 or registration@nalhfa.org. NALHFA will refund the registration fee for each cancellation received by this date, less a $95 processing charge. All refunds are processed after the conference. Substitutions always are accepted for the conference in question. After March 19, no refunds will be granted for cancellation requests.
Guest Policy
NALHFA encourages registrants to bring spouses and guests to the conference. Guests may attend all regular non-session events, including the bus tour, receptions, continental breakfasts and luncheons. However, guests may not attend the general or concurrent sessions. An organization’s employees or exhibitors are not considered “guests.” The cost for each guest registered on or by February 27 is $100. After that date, the cost for each guest registration is $150.
To register a guest in advance, please check the appropriate box on the registration form in this brochure. On-site guest registration is available at the NALHFA registration desk.
ONLY REGISTERED ATTENDEES WITH BADGES WILL BE ADMITTED TO CONFERENCE EVENTS AND SESSIONS.
Hotel Accommodations
The Millennium Biltmore Hotel is the official hotel and headquarters of the conference. The hotel is located at 506 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90071. To learn more about the accommodations, please visit www.millenniumhotels.com/millenniumlosangeles/.

To obtain the NALHFA rate of $179, attendees must make hotel reservations by March 14, 2008. NALHFA cannot guarantee room availability and rate for reservations, regardless of the date. Please contact NALHFA National Headquarters at (202) 367-1197 with any questions.
The NALHFA conference hotel cancellation deadline is March 14, 2008. A first night deposit will be charged upon making each reservation. You must cancel your hotel accommodations at least 30 days prior to the conference to avoid penalty.

The attire for the 2008 NALHFA Spring Educational Conference is business casual. The average high temperature in Los Angeles during April is 73°F with an average low of 54°F.
