Who Are Our Members?

NALHFA's Regular members are the housing finance agencies from across the United States committed to providing affordable housing to low income individuals and families.
 
NALHFA’s Affiliate members include those that support local housing agencies through their products and services such as investment bankers, law firms, lenders, mortgage brokers, developers, financial advisers, consultants, and more.

NALHFA Non-Profit members are any person or educational institution in the United States engaged in housing finance activities. 

NALHFA is the only industry association that connects local housing finance agencies with those that provide products and services that support affordable housing in the United States.

The National Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies (NALHFA), founded in 1982, is the national association of professionals working to finance affordable housing in the broader community development context at the local level. As a non-profit association, NALHFA is an advocate before Congress and federal agencies on legislative and regulatory issues affecting affordable housing and provides technical assistance and educational opportunities to its members and the public. Members are city and county agencies, non-profits, and private firms, such as underwriters, consultants, financial advisers, bond counsel, and rating agencies, which help in producing housing from concept to completion.
